Sugar Paste a cake PERFECTLY!

Sally promised and has delivered. Many of you ask for tutorials on a foolproof method on how to cover a cake in sugar paste/ fondant, and here it is. We've also thrown together a cute, simple, clean decoration design that will elevate your cake and make it look super professional.

You'll need approximately 2.5kg of sugar paste/ fondant to comfortably cover and decorate a 3x layer 7" round cake. Plus food colouring paste/gel of your choice.

3x 7" Round Cake Tins
435g Plain Flour
460g Caster Sugar
80g Cocoa Powder
1tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
1/2tsp Sea Salt
4 Eggs 300ml
Coffee (cooled)
300ml Buttermilk
