Tis the season for all things FESTIVE, and it honestly doesn't get much better than our classic Christmas Spice Cupcakes! These were one of the very first recipes we ever shared on the Cupcake Jemma channel so we thought it would only be right to bring them back for a lil revamp!

Makes 12 Cupcakes:
120g Self Raising Flour
¾ tsp Ginger
¾ tsp Cinnamon
⅛ tsp Cloves
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Bicarb
125g Caster Sugar
135g Butter
2 Eggs
1 ½ tbsp Milk
1 ½ tsp Golden Syrup

Armagnac Buttercream:
285g Butter
¼ tsp Salt
450g Icing Sugar
2-4 tbsp Armagnac
